The American Speech Language & Hearing Association is a professional association for speech–language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the United States and internationally. This link will take you to suggestions for parents in the areas of speech and language development.
The California Speech & Hearing Association is a community of over 3,000 California speech-language pathologists (SLPs), SLP assistants, speech aides, audiologists and support personnel dedicated providing support and resources to those with communication difficulties. This link will lead you to a variety of parent resources for infants and toddlers.
The San Diego Regional Center is one of 21 regional centers in California that provides support and services to persons with developmental disabilities. Regional centers provide diagnosis and assessment of eligibility and help plan, access, coordinate and monitor the services and supports that are needed because of a developmental disability. There is no charge for the diagnosis and eligibility assessment.
